It's official. It's happening. Inglorious Bastards will be out in 2009.
And while we wait, we think we'll just stick on our copy of The Whole Bloody Affair, the Kill Bill re-edit QT promised would be out on DVD by now. But wait, that doesn't exist. And come this time next year, we doubt Inglorious Bastards will either.
But still, here's what QT's announced. “The next movie I’m doing is my WWII movie Inglorious Bastards. I actually just finished the first draft of the script and when I go home I’ll be finishing it up…and if all goes well [pregnant pause] I will be here 2009 at Cannes with my war film INGLORIOUS BASTARDS!!! [applause].”
Let's hope all goes well, eh?
