In a new mockumentary

With Indiana Jones returning to our cinemas next year and another Mummy sequel bubbling away in the tombs of Hollywood, what better time for a spoof documentary about an adventurer’s terrible journey?
Universal thinks it has found just the man to fill the safari suit for The Lost Adventures Of Stone Perlmutter Jr – and his name is Jack Black. He’ll take the lead and produce the film, which purports to be made up of footage from 1979, following Perlmutter on his travels. He’s a man on several missions, seeking out El Dorado, the lost tomb of Jesus and (no surprise given Black’s obsession) the Yeti.
Peter Huyck and Alex Gregory have penned the script, and Black’s next job will be tracking down a director.
