Clearly sick of not getting the roles she wants, Jada Pinkett Smith has decided to make her own. She’s just landed the money to shoot her directorial debut, The Human Contract.
Despite being married to a bankable superstar (that would be Will), she’s only having hubby help with the producing chores – someone else will be starring. Whoever she pics will play Julian Wright, a charming, successful businessman whose secret life is slowly destroying every aspect of his existence. But then Michael Reed – a “gorgeous stranger” (it says here) – shows him a new life, one that will let him break free of the corporate world and enjoy a bohemian lifestyle.
Pinkett Smith has written the script herself and plans to start shooting in LA this November.
