Warner Bros and Dark Castle have tapped Wonderland helmer James Cox to direct The Summoner.
The psychological horror finds a young man dabbling in the dark arts who ends up summoning a supernatural being to the human world.
And, because these things never go well, the beastie soon starts to wriggle out of his concern and threaten all of us. Stupid pesky demon types, always up to their old tricks.
January shoot
The Hollywood Reporter has it that the movie will start shooting in January in Oregon, once a cast has been locked down.
Rumours that Boris Johnson will be playing the demon are, of course, 23% possible.
