David O Russell is busy with pre-production on his latest comedy Nailed, which stars Jessica Biel and Jake Gyllenhaal in the tale of a small-town waitress who gets shot in the head with a nail and ends up heading to Washington to battle for better health care after the accident causes her to exhibit weird behaviour.
Now Russell is looking to add more actors to his cast, lining up James Marsden as Biel’s boyfriend, Catherine Keener as a conniving congresswoman and 30 Rock’s Tracy Morgan as a fellow accident victim.
It all starts shooting next month and The Hollywood Reporter has it pinned down.
