Jamie Foxx and Kerry Washington on Quentin Tarantino: video interview

Django Unchained stars on Quentin's career…

We sat down to chat with the stars of Django Unchained, Jamie Foxx and Kerry Washington, last week.

When we weren't asking them about their unfortunate Oscar snub, we were discussing how they felt about working with Quentin Tarantino.

Watch the video below for their answers, and check out our Django Unchained homepage for more information about the film.

Django Unchained opens in the UK on 18 January 2013.

I generally steer clear of Tarantino films because of his propensity for ultra-violence, but as Jamie and Kerry explain in the interview, this film explores aspects of the slavery, racism, and the quest to recover one's great love in inimitable Tarantino style, so the violence is a necessary character. Great performances all around, with an Oscar-worthy script that doesn't take itself too seriously while still driving its points across.

This is one of the best fims ever by Quentin. It covers everything, serious, a little funny at times but brings the point across in the best way. The actors and actresses were excellent choices for the roles they played. In my eyes everyone came out #1. Great job, great film. A must to see. (I've seen it 3 times)
