Jason Bateman has signed on to the cast of Juno director Jason Reitman’s latest, Up In The Air.
Air’s plot finds George Clooney as a corporate downsizer who is obsessed with grabbing his one-millionth frequent flyer mile.
Trouble is, his devotion to business and travel has left him without a proper life.
Bateman – who is already shooting on the movie so he can be ready to start work on pregnancy comedy Baster with Jennifer Aniston - is playing Clooney’s boss.
Adapted by Reitman from Walter Kirn’s novel, Up In The Air should be out later in the year.
