Jason Statham’s really in demand at the moment, it seems – he’s just signed on to yet another film, The Killer Elite.
The plot finds a group of ex-British special forces (SAS etc) soldiers who are being hunted down and slaughtered by assassins.
Statham’s signed on as a former Navy Seal who has to come out of retirement to save his best mate.
It’ll shape up as a based-on-truth tale, adapted from Ranulph Fiennes’ book The Feathermen (below), and adverts director Gary McKendry will make his film debut with the movie.
With luck, it’ll kick off shooting this autumn in London and Paris, with an extra jaunt to Australia. Lucky gits.
