Jean Reno joins Couples Retreat

He'll play a therapist in the Vince Vaughn comedy

Jean Reno has joined the cast of Universal’s Couples Retreat.

The comedy, which sees four couples on holiday at a tropical island resort discovering that the couples therapy on offer is not an optional extra, is about to start shooting.

Variety reports that Reno will play a therapist who also happens to be in charge of the resort.

Jon Favreau (who wrote the movie), Kristen Bell, Malin Akerman, Kristin Davis and Faizon Love are also part of the cast.

Peter Billingsley, who usually produces Vaughn and Favreau’s films, is directing this time round.

And while Reno often juggles laughs alongside being a hard-nut action man, we’d like to see him blend the two for the comedy value.
