Jesse Bradford, who has just finished work on Oliver Stone’s George Bush biopic W, has nabbed one of the leading roles in the adaptation of Rucker Max’s alcohol-driven memoir I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell.
Max created a website chronicling his party lifestyle, which nabbed a book deal with Penguin and now a film in development with Richard Kelly’s production company, Darko, producing. Matt Czuchry is making the leap from TV’s Gilmore Girls to film and nabbing the lead role of Max in a story that sees him nearly ruin a friend’s wedding and try to get back into his good graces. Geoff Stults is also starring and The Hollywood Reporter is getting the next round.
