Penned by Ain’t It Cool’s Drew McWeeny and regular writing partner Scott Swan, Bat Out Of Hell with find a group of hijackers taking over a red-eye flight between LA and New York, only to discover something truly terrible lurking in the hold. And no, we don’t mean Richard Branson trying to fly really cheap.
He’ll start shooting later in the year and Variety is hoping for a Gremlins in-joke.
