He’s signed on for Amber Heard ghost story

John Carpenter has signed on to direct ghostly horror pic The Ward.
Yes, while Hollywood moves ahead on “re-imagining” one of his best previous movies (The Thing), Carpenter has agreed to work on the pic for Echo Lake.
Amber Heard – last seen in Pineapple Express- will play a haunted woman trapped inside a mental institution.
Expect Marcus Nispel to be hired to remake The Ward three days after it’s released.
