With Isla Fisher already cast as the heroine of Confessions Of A Shopaholic, it was only a matter of time before director PJ Hogan found her parents.
And he’s found some quality comedy character actors, too – John Goodman and Joan Cusack will be worrying about Fisher’s credit limit as she tries to also deal with being a magazine journalist. It’s a tough job, but someone’s got to do it…
This news comes not a moment too soon – the film is already shooting in New York. Variety is keeping tabs.
