John Krasinski finds Mendes
Sam Mendes, that is – he’s starring in the director’s new comedy

After what seems like ages since Jarhead, Sam Mendes is gearing back up to make his next film – a relationship rom com that boasts a script co-written by cult novelist and McSweeny’s literary guru Dave Eggers and wife Vendela Vida.
So far, so yesterday’s news, but Mendes has now started locking in a cast. He’s picked John Krasinski and Saturday Night Live’s Maya Rudolph for play a couple expecting their first child who travel the States looking for a place to put down roots.
Curb Your Enthusiasm’s Cheryl Hines is also on board and Variety is following the story.
