Johnny Depp gets Golden Globes revenge on Ricky Gervais

Guest stars in Life's Too Short

Johnny Depp finally has some payback over comments Ricky Gervais made at the Golden Globes last year about his film The Tourist

It's not quite the media spat you might expect though, as Depp's jibes feature on Gervais' new comedy series Life's Too Short

Warwick Davis stars in the show as the head of a talent agency run exclusively for smaller actors.

Depp appears as a guest star and you can get a taste of his revenge below.

Another hit for Gervais and Merchant? Or does Life's Too Short look like a rerun of Extras? Tell us below!

      Oh that was great, a funny cameo indeed, should be a good show with the amount of guest cameos lined up

      Why Johnny Depp is using James Bond's x ray glasses from The World is not Enough on Ricky Gervais is anybodys guess.

      @Nilbog - For once, hyperbole aside, Dalidab isn't too far off the mark. But that was a very funny clip and shows a keener sense of self-awareness than Depp (and by extension Tim Burton) are often credited with. They're obviously well aware that cynical know-it-alls on the web roll their eyes whenever they and Burton's other half work together on something yet again, but they clearly don't give a s**t what we think. Which makes me like them all the more!

      @dalidab, i'm not much of a Gervais apologist, but in al fairness when he has mentioned the word m**g, he has clearly stated that it does not mean a term for people with Down's. m**g merely means idiot or imbecile. Just because ignorant people then used the word as a derogatory term for people with Down's doesn't mean that it cannot still be used under it's original definition.

      @dalidab, m**g is an accepted word to say so f**k up, like gay has always meant happy, then became derogatory for homosexual for a while(although it seems to be accepted as a word now), saying your gay when your happy has still always been ok, so don't be getting so precious over ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. And I'm sorry but that is extremely rich coming from you. the amount of bile and hatred you have spewed towards people on this site on a daily basis, and you feel you have the right to get offended by what other people say? i do not f*****g think so. Maybe you need to stop wishing people died of cancer, calling bisexuals "pathetic half-breeds" and various other things yeah? and calling someone a t**t and w****r is being highly derogatory, so you might wanna stop that seeing as you hate derogatory terms so much. Hypocrisy thy name is dalidab1982.

      @dalidab, that's fair enough, but don't be giving Ricky Gervais s**t just because your a f*****g m**g.

      HE WAS NOT MAKING FUN OF PEOPLE WITH LEARNING DIFFICULTIES!! What part of that do you not f*****g understand? Just because you can only associate that word as a derogatory one says more about you than it does about Ricky Gervais.

      It's completely unacceptable to use the term m**g in any context, and I believe Gervais actually apologised (after a fashion) admitting he was 'naive'. So there you go.

      Dalidab I think with your comments on this thread you've managed to crawl so far up your own hypocritical a**e you've gone around enough times to turn yourself into a pretzel. Kindly f**k off and put your c**k in a blender- you've said more offensive, ignorant, mean-spirited and just plain hateful things on these boards alone than I've EVER heard Gervais say. And I don't even like the guy.
