Things have gone somewhat quiet over at the production office for the Escape From New York remake. It’s been a revolving door of actors (Gerard Butler) and directors (Len Wiseman, Brett Ratner), and the producers seem no closer to locking down someone behind the camera.
That said, according to French site Spielberg News, the latest possibility to don the eye patch and shoulder the attitude is No Country For Old Men’s Josh Brolin. He’s certainly got the grizzled charm – so will he sign on? We’ll have to see. Oh, and you’ll either have to show off that well-educated French or break out the Babel Fish translator to read the page…
