Universal has found the actor to replace Sean Penn in crime drama cartel - Josh Brolin.
Brolin will report to the film's Mexico City set in January to start shooting, playing a man who must protect his son when his wife is slaughtered by a drug cartel member.
Asger Leth is behind the camera, with Brian Grazer producing. It's inspired by the Italian movie La Scorta from 1993, which saw four cops attempting to guard a special prosecutor from the mobsters he was trying to send to jail.
