Robert Rodriguez has released the first image from forthcoming sequel, Sin City: A Dame To Kill For, featuring Josh Brolin looking badass as Dwight.
Rodriguez released the new image via his Twitter feed, along with a second shot of Brolin filming against the ever-present green screen background.
“Here’s bad ass Josh Brolin driving a Rodriguez-mobile (a green box with a steering wheel bolted on,” tweeted the director. “And here’s a quick photo touch up I do to set a tone for the actors (Probably won’t be raining in final movie).”
You might remember Dwight as looking a lot more like Clive Owen last time out, but since this is a prequel, you probably didn’t realise that the character had undergone reconstructive surgery to look the way he does in the first movie.
Co-starring Jessica Alba, Mickey Rourke, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Rosario Dawson, Sin City: A Dame To Kill For will open in the US on 4 October 2013, with a UK date to be confirmed.
