It’s been a while since a hefty Hollywood A-list name came across the pond to star in a West End stage production. We blame the weak dollar. But Josh Hartnett is braving the expensive cab rides and food costs to play the role made famous by Tom Cruise in Rain Man. He’ll be starring in the play adaptation alongside Britain’s own Adam Godley, telling the tale of a vain, confident car dealer who discovers an autistic older brother he never knew he had. The resulting road trip serves as a bonding experience for the pair.
Variety is looking for its tickets. And if you’re after your own, the play will be at the Apollo theatre from 28 August until 20 December.
