Josh Lucas is God's Spy

He’s signed on to the conspiracy thriller

Having survived Poseidon – both in terms of the movie and his career – Josh Lucas is moving on to God’s Spy.

He’s signed on to Andy Morahan’s thriller, which is based on true events and finds a hotshot young Wall Street trader who also happens to be a Jesuit priest undercover getting experience of the financial markets (apparently).

If that’s not all, he gets wrapped up on a conspiracy revolving around the CIA, the Vatican and the Mafia. Oh, and the Freemasons.

It likely won’t end well for our hero – the real life Italian banker, Roberto Calvi, was found hanging under Blackfriars Bridge in 1982. Peter O’Toole and Giancarlo Giannini are also on board, and Morahan starts shooting next year in Montreal.
