Judd Apatow teams with Jason Schwartzman

And Eric Bana for Funny People

BY Total Film Jun 12th 2008 0:00AMFILED UNDER: Movie news

It’s been known for a while now that Judd Apatow was targeting Eric Bana for his latest film, which will apparently blend comedy and drama even more than Knocked Up. Not only is Bana an accomplished comedian, but it also represents a great in-joke following Knocked’s extended riff about Munich.

But he’s not the only one – Apatow has also snagged the services of Jason Schwartzman and a certain young man named Jonah Hill. Yes, it looks like Jonah’s run on Apatow-produced films isn’t ending any time yet.

With Seth Rogen, Leslie Mann and Adam Sandler already on board, Apatow will start shooting the movie – about a comedian who undergoes a near-death experience – in September. Variety is polishing its act.
