Julia Roberts and Clive Owen show some Duplicity

They’re playing spies who go after a valuable product…

You loved them as the bitter, distrustful lovers in Closer. Now get ready to love them all over again! Dropping the hype voice for a moment, we can report that Julia Roberts and Clive Owen are teaming back up to play lovers and spies who team up for a robbery.

Tony Gilroy – who has had success with his directorial debut Michael Clayton – has written and will take the big folding chair again for Duplicity, which finds Roberts and Owen as espionage agents on opposite sides who also happen to be in lurve. They hatch a complicated plan to run a con to rip off corporations and nick a valuable mystery product.

Gilroy starts shooting in March.
