Kapow! Comic Convention video round up: Mark Millar, Rufus Sewell and Gareth Evans

Watch our video interviews

Were you at Kapow! Comic Con this weekend?

If so, this’ll be a nice nostalgic reminder for you. If not, well, you’ve come to the right place to catch up.

We were there on the stage we shared with SFX and Comic Heroes, and we chatted to a whole host of movie folk.

First up is Kick-Ass comic creator and generally charming Scotsman Mark Millar. He talks about his soon-to-be-a-movie Supercrooks (directed by Timecrimes’ Nacho Vigalondo), as well as, of course, Kick-Ass.

Next up, The Raid director Gareth Evans talks about the making of his Indonesian action smash, and how he needs to top the original in the upcoming sequel.

And finally, we also took time to chat to Rufus Sewell, who plays the big bad in this summer’s Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. He speaks candidly about being a Brit in Hollywood, and discusses the practical side of working on a big-budget FX-heavy movie.

Here’s the interview:

The Raid is in cinemas now, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter opens on 20 June 2012, and Kick-Ass 2 is expected to open next year.
