According to The Playlist, Karen O, indie scenester and lead singer of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, will contribute songs to the Where The Wild Things Are soundtrack.
It's an interesting choice, and we're sure the fact director Jonze used to date O has nothing to do with it. Oh, and the fact that the band's producer, Sam Spiegel, is Jonze's brother.
Actually, we think the main reason O was picked is the fact she's perfect for the gig - as anyone who's heard her solo demos, KO At Home, will testify.
Spiegel said that O: "Is doing most of the music. I've helped out a little with ideas, but she is pretty much doing the whole thing."
So, Missing Persons style yelping will accompany footage of furry monsters - we can't wait!
