Keira Knightley starring in London Boulevard

Colin Farrell's also signed for the crime drama

The Departed’s scribe William Monahan has cast Colon Farrell and Keira Knightley in his directorial debut, London Boulevard.

The crime drama, adapted by Monahan from Ken Breun’s book, finds a south London criminal (Farrell) attempting to give up the world of the gangster.

Hoping to go straight, he takes a job as a handyman for a reclusive young thesp (Knightley).

We’re going to hazard a guess that things don’t exactly go to plan for our hero.

The film will shoot this summer around London, so if you see sudden explosions of paparazzi activity, that’s probably it. Either that, or one of the younger royals doing something stupid.
