It’s Independence Day week in the States, so naturally everyone and their assistant in Hollywood (except for a select few) are taking it easy.
But some studios are still announcing casts and deals – such as Disney, which has revealed the villain for its newest animated pic, The Princess And The Frog.
Most recently seen in Crash and Transporter 2, regular supporting thesp Keith David will lend his tonsils to the evil Dr Facilier, a man intent on causing trouble for Princess Tiana (Dreamgirls’ Anika Noni Rose), the heroine of the tale. There’s not much else out there about the plot besides the fact it takes place in New Orleans’ French Quarter.
It’ll hit our cinemas late in 2009…
