Keith Lemon: The Film gets a full-length trailer

Take a look at the Celebrity Juice host’s movie debut

Keith Lemon: The Film is the movie debut of Leigh Francis’ celebrity-bothering alter ego (as the fairly self-explanatory title suggests).

The movie delves into Lemon’s early days as pre-fame inventor/salesman, proudly dubbed ‘Small-time businessman of the year’ in 1993. A stroke of luck while pitching a product on daytime TV show sees his stock sky-rocket, and the rest is history.

From the outset, it’s clear that KL:TF is going to be keeping the humour firmly on the filthy side; after a narrowly averted C-bomb, the trailer is packed with crude innuendo and inappropriate banter… just what fans will be wanting, then.

As you’d expect, there are cameos aplenty, in Lemon’s old Bo Selecta stablemate, Mel B.

Check out the trailer for Keith Lemon: The Film below:

Keith Lemon: The Film opens on 24 August 2012.

Christ. Is this the best we can offer? It's almost as if every s**t thing in modern English culture has been put in one film.

Well this looks like it will win the coveted Heisenberg "Biggest pile of s**te"award that The Inbetweeners won last year.

Ha, I wouldn't mind seeing the other categories in the Heisenbergs and some other previous winners of such a prestigious award

@ChrisWootton, in the Heisenbergs or the "Bergies" as they are affectionately known, the other categories include, Worst Actor: Will Ferrell as 7 of the last 8 years, which is impressive... and the Worst Actress award but i pretty much decided to retire this in 2005 as i was then made to watch Monster-In-Law which has Jennifer Lopez, and i could not possibly conceive of a worse actress, even now she makes Rosie Huntington Whitley look like a Thesp.

Keith Lemon's popularity reflects a complete lack of decent British comedy talent. The sad thing is that people will flock to the cinema to watch a character who has been made popular through ITV2. I have nothing against Leigh Francis just can't believe how often I hear people quoting Keith Lemon jokes.

The main contenders for each category are announced around 5:03pm on Dec 17th, with the official results announced on Dec 25th. It can make or break Christmas for some people.

@Heisenberg If you pick a date and a venue, I'll happily attend 'The Bergies'. But we must all get to vote for the overall winner from your nominees and have a screening of the 'Worst Picture' for our own amusement! We could all do a 'live riff track' - kinda like Mystery Science Theatre or the guys from The Comedy Button...

OK, I might suggest you delay until a few days after Christmas so that we might be able to attend without invoking the ire of our families/friends/disturbed-overly-aggressive-TF forum-colleagues etc...

@alexr, That may be doable, if shifted to the 28th, a venue could be placed, and we could get it sponsored by Total Film obviously. We can make it a 100 person vote contest on the night, with dalidab being banned of course, and then the "Biggest Pile of s**te" winner can be shown for ridicule, booing, and general popcorn throwing at screen types of activities. I'm awaiting the day for a Will Ferrell Jennifer Lopez co-starring movie, at which point my head might just explode. The winners of each category get sent a DVD of their own movie, wrapped in toilet paper for metaphorical purposes.

You'd need to enlist Dalidab's help at some juncture though. He'd probably be able to provide the legally purchased footage of each of the entries. Plus of course their entire IMDB listing off the top of his (potato) head.

@thedanieljson: do you mean Keith Lemon The Movie or the interchange between Heisenberg/marc96/the jonner? Coz they were hilarious ... whereas I agree Keith Lemon does not look funny at all, there's a reason he's on ITV2 and he should stay there :)

Looks awful. Not a fan of Keith Lemon at all. Can't blame him for making a film though. Fame is fleeting - especially when your only discernible talent is wearing a fake moustache and making c**p innuendos - he might as well ride the wave of popularity for as long as possible, I know I would! It's sure to make a whole s**t load of cash, just like The Inbetweeners, Kevin and Perry, Ali G etc etc etc

With The Avengers, Batman, Promethius, Brave, Expendables 2 and others i forget out this year how has a rubbish TV personality got a film out the same year as AAA titles?? This will make money with TOWIE fans loving his humor and teenagers loving the volgar joke this will make money. The only possible plus is Kelly Brook in her underwear...Which is always a plus.
