Remember Keke Palmer? Tsk. Well, don't worry, she’s probably still best known for her title role in Akeelah And The Bee with Laurence Fishburne.
Now she's signed on to star opposite Ice Cube, Dash Mihok and Matt Craven in an as-yet-untitled drama about real-life American Football player Jasmine Palmer. With the help of her uncle (Cube), Palmer becomes the first female quarterback to play for her small Illinois town in a schools super bowl.
The Hollywood Reporter is keeping score on the film, including the fact that podgy Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst is directing. Which is right about where we got very worried indeed.
