In David Zucker’s American Carol

Kelsey Grammer might still be best known as neurotic, cultured shrink Frasier Crane from Cheers and… oh, that other show… it’s on the tip of our tongue… And while he’s been busy crafting a new sitcom character on US telly, he’s found time to sign up for David Zucker’s latest.
We’ve previously told you about Zucker’s new comedy, An American Carol, which adapts Charles Dickens’ immortal story to lampoon modern American culture, with a main character that refuses to believe in patriotism. Variety reports that Grammer will start filming shortly, drawing on his previous experience playing Scrooge in a TV movie.
