Chris Nolan has recruited one of his former stars, Batman Begins’ Ken Watanabe, for his new sci-fi thriller, Inception.
Also joining the cast is Tom Hardy, most recently seen busting heads and going crazy in Bronson.
And while The Hollywood Reporter doesn’t say much about the casting, it does at least expand on the now standard plot description for the action pic, which is set “within the architecture of the mind”.
Watanabe will apparently play the film’s big bad, a man who is blackmailing Leonardo DiCaprio’s CEO business type.
Hardy (above), meanwhile, is a member of DiCaprio’s team.
The new arrivals join DiCaprio, Michael Caine, Ellen Page, Cillian Murphy, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Marion Cotillard, who have all signed on board.
We might be frustrated with the lack of plot info, but at least it leaves something to look forward to…
