There must be something in the bottled water in Hollywood this week – with Sam Raimi getting off the superhero train for a horror film and now Ghost Rider’s Mark Steven Johnson leaving his Marvel toys in the box to direct a romantic comedy.
Kristen Bell will star in When In Rome, the tale of a successful estate agent living in New York who never seems able to find a proper relationship. But when she attends her impulsive sister’s wedding in Rome, she takes a chance, snatching coins from a legendary fountain of love and discovering that the water’s powers might just be true…
Johnson wrote the script and it starts shooting next month in Rome. Variety has all the details.
