Larry David gets a Woody

It sounds like the plot for the next season of Larry David’s ace Seinfeld TV follow-up Curb Your Enthusiasm, but as Entertainment Weekly reports, it’s actual casting news as Woody Allen has picked Larry David to be the lead in his next, untitled film.
It’s something of a coup, as David never seems to enjoy acting (or indeed, much of anything), but we guess the lure of the Woodster was too great to ignore. And, as a bonus, he not only gets to act alongside Evan Rachel Wood, but this next movie marks Woody’s return to his most famous stomping ground. That’s right, after a few years here in Blighty and then Spain, Allen’s back in Manhattan. Stay tuned for all the news…
