Director Nancy Kissam has nabbed actors Laura Harring, Jill Marie Jones and The Mummy’s Oded Fehr for her darkly tinged comedy Drool.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Harring will play an abused wife who plans to escape with her best mate (Jones).
But their scheme faces a serious problem when she accidentally kills her hubby (Fehr), and the two women end up driving the body across country.
Slamdance winner
Kissam’s screenplay nabbed the top prize in the 2006 Slamdance screenplay competition, which has led to a deal with Upload films to make the movie.
Sounds like Thelma And Louise to us – let’s hope they stay away from large desert cliffs…
