Lauren Ambrose knows Where The Wild Things Are

She’s replacing Michelle Williams…

It’s only just kicked off and already this week seems to be becoming one for replacements in movies. And it’s not just actors in State Of Play: Spike Jonze is making a change to Where The Wild Things Are.

While the movie itself has been shot, he’s obviously still tweaking the soundtrack has the director has just replaced Michelle Williams’ voice with that of Lauren Ambrose, late of TV series Six Feet Under.

Williams’ tonsils apparently didn’t mesh with Jonze’s idea for the character of KW, one of the giant, furry, titular creatures who make a young boy named Max into their king.

Early imagery points to it looking amazing, so we’re hopeful for something special when it marches into cinemas later next year.
