The first trailer for Law Abiding Citizen has appeared online and you can see it below.
Gerard Butler and Jamie Foxx star in the story of a man (Butler) whose wife and family are brutally slaughtered.
But when a district attorney (Foxx) only gets one of the killers jailed in a deal that sets the other free, Butler decides that he'll dish out his own brand of justice - and everyone involved is a target.
The film has been through a lengthy development - attaching then losing Frank Darabont, finding F Gary Gray to direct and seeing Foxx and Butler switch roles - but based on the evidence of this trailer, looks to be a tough thriller.

Not bad, I'm always just a little bit worried about Butler's accent, not saying I could do better, but there are always little hints of Glaswegian (hope that's geographically right) in there. Sometimes I wish he'd go down there 'Connery' route and just use his own accent no matter what. Hunt for red october anyone?

Looks quite interesting, a good little twist on a tired revenge formula. i've put it on my 'dvd to purchase list'
