Len Wiseman directing Nocturne

It's the end of the world… Again.

Die Hard 4.0 director Len Wiseman is considering directing Nocturne for Fox.

The film is based on an unusual thing - an original idea - that follows a group of people in a post-apocalyptic world and a mystery as to how they all survived the cataclysm.

While that title might be changing - the still-in-development project  has no writer and is also listed as "untitled" - Fox is hoping that Wiseman will sign on, since he still hasn't picked a follow-up to John McClane's latest outing. 

He's got a few films bubbling away in various stages, with war pic Shrapnel and underwater action movie Atlantis Rising also a possibility.

Maybe he'll wait to see how 2012 performs before he decides…
