Leonardo DiCaprio has attached himself to a script about Costa Rican-based online casinos for Paramount.
Written by Brian Koppelman and David Levien – who know a thing or two about gambling on film after penning Rounders (below) and Ocean’s Thirteen – the story will focus on the strange twilight world of online gaming, though not much else is known yet.
Still, DiCaprio plans to produce via his Appian Way company and will be adding the film to his list of things to do.
It’s no surprise – he’s already working with the writers on an adaptation of Josh Bazell’s novel Beat The Reaper, about a hit man turned medic.
