Liam Neeson leading The A-Team!

And Bradley Cooper’s officially in talks for Face…

Insert your own “we love it when a plan comes together” gag here – Liam Neeson is negotiating to play John "Hannibal" Smith in The A-Team.

He’s busy negotiating money terms with 20th Century Fox now, but if the deal works out, he’ll be bringing his particular set of skills to Joe Carnahan’s set some time in late August for the shoot.

And no doubt thanks to the hefty success of The Hangover – which scored a surprise upset at this weekend’s box office when the final figures shoved it ahead of Pixar’s Up – Bradley Cooper is officially in talks.

Despite earlier denials of IESB’s scoop, he’s definitely up for the role of Templeton “Faceman” Peck, the smooth-talking, lady-charming member of the team.

All they really need now is a Murdock and a BA Baracus, though Terminator Salvation’s Common might nab that one…

I'm not familiar with Cooper, but Neeson for Hannibal could actually work out very well. I'm glad we're finally hearing some proper news about this film though. Various rumours about this film have been floating around for years, it's about time we started to hear what they're actually doing with it.

Oh and if they get Jim Carrey to play Murdock, i will have no choice but to shoot lots and lots of people in the face.

One more thing, i haven't seen Terminator Salvation yet so i don't know bout "Common", but from the picture on imdb he doesn't quite look big enough to be B.A.

For "Howling-Mad" Murdoch, it would have to be Woody Harrelson, Robert Downey Jr or Seth Rogen. For BA, I've always thought that Ice Cube would be the best choice. He has the size, the attitude and the acting chops to pull it off.

Having recently seen MrT .... HE CAN STILL DO IT!!! .. Other than that.... MICHAEL CLARKE DUNCAN... for MR T and OWEN WILSON for Howling Mad.... and expect to see Dirk Benedict at a stop sign in the white Corvette as the ATeam van drives by, and Dwight Schultz in the cockpit of a helicopter during an airport scene... Well that is what would happen in my movie anyway.... I love it when a plan comes together!!!

Ok, for nearly ten years my friends an I have played a game called, the A team game. The rules being, if 'they' could remake The A Team today, into a movie, who would star? We've had a lot of fun over the years with this, especially with gender and race reversals, Will Smith as Face, Stone Cold Steve Austin as B.A.

We've had a lot of fun over the years with this, especially with gender and race reversals, Will Smith as Face, Stone Cold Steve Austin as B.A. brad pitt as Murdoch, Pam Grier as Hannibal. . . The point is, there are so many worthwhile contenders for all the leads, why, oh WHY, are the current rosta so . . . POOR! No disrespect to the individual actors, but ffs! Common as B.A.? He's little, and not at all intimidating! Liam niesson? To old and irish (come on, when has he EVER done a decent american accent?), Woody f****n Harrelson??? (However it's spelt) he's . . . s**t! I am truely stunned at the disregard and contempt held by the studio, for the original, in the choice of actors considered. Ok, it's a B movie at best, with poor source materiel and the ever unimpressed fan-boy core, but this is an iconic t.v. series that should be treated with respect. After all, you're only making it cos we love it so! Handsome Dave Ps, my casting choice. . . Hannibal - Ralph Fiennes Howlin 'Mad' Murdoch - Vince Vaughn Face - Chris Evans And B.A. - Kimbo Slice. Now that's the f****n A Team ;)
