Linda Hamilton talks Terminator Salvation

She confirms she may lend her voice…

Linda Hamilton’s name has been rumoured in connection with Terminator Salvation for ages now, but she’s finally gone on the record about her possible work on the new movie.

“My contribution would be voiceover,” she tells MTV “I would probably be very happy to loan my voice depending on what the material is. Wait and see. They’re already writing it. We’ve been negotiating it.”

Don’t think of it as a locked down deal yet, though, folks – she wants to know exactly what they have planned before she commits.

“We are talking. I haven’t read it yet. I don’t know what direction they will go in.”

And she also let slip how the producers of T3 wanted her to be involved, but that she knocked them back.

“They offered me a part,” she says. “I read it and I knew my character arc was so complete in the first two, and in the third one it was a negligible character. She died halfway through and there was no time to mourn her. It was kind of disposable, so I said no thank you.”

Would you be happy with some Hamilton narration? Or should Sarah Connor stay away?

I honestly don't care either way. But if they had to use some Sarah Connor stuff then it should probably be Hamilton voicing it.

I can't see how Sarah Connor could narrate from the dead but if it works, it works
