The first clip from Paul Schrader's The Canyons has emerged online, featuring Lindsay Lohan stumbling unconvincingly around a plush LA apartment.
There isn't much in the way of dialogue, which is probably for the best, since Lohan seems to be struggling to sell the idea of a girl looking for her phone.
Things liven up a little when the sleeping James Deen wakes up, but his ultra-aggressive delivery seems to have been lifted straight from one of his less subtle pornos.
Take a look below:
The whole project seems a deeply bizarre undertaking, with the considerable creative clout of Schrader and writer Bret Easton Ellis looking to have produced little more than a pulpy B-movie. Still, perhaps there's more going on than meets the eye…
Co-starring Gus Van Sant and Amanda Brooks, The Canyons is expected to arrive in cinemas later this year, with a release date to be confirmed.

This from a magazine that raves about every teen idol and pop singer pretending to be an actor as if they're teenage girls. It's sad seeing how you guys work now.
