Looper competition: Mission One, Day One starts here

Search our site for a chance to win

Looper, the incredible sci-fi thriller from Brick director Rian Johnson finally opens in cinemas at the end of this month (and looks ace on the cover of Total Film magazine #198).

Joseph Gordon-Levitt stars as Joe, a 2044 hitman tasked with the unenviable job of assassinating his time-travelling future self (played by Bruce Willis). If that’s frying your brain like an egg now, expect it to be scrambled when you see the film.

To celebrate the release, the @LooperUK Joe Vs Joe game kicks off today, right here on Total Film.

To be in with a chance of winning some ultra-cool prizes, and answer this question:

Total Film has long been a supporter of Rian Johnson's five-star sci-fi thriller Looper and now we're asking you to go back in time to discover -  what date did we first cover the film? [Hint: use the search bar to find our oldest Looper news story]

Got it? Right, now you have the answer, head over to the game’s official website to enter.

Entering today will give you the chance to win some exclusive Looper merchandise for completing the first mission, but you can continue to play the Joe Vs Joe game over the next 10 days for the chance to win an iPhone 5 and the chance to interview Rian Johnson (you’ll have to play the entire game throughout the week to be eligible for this prize).

Enter now!

[Please check the official competition website for full terms and conditions].

Looper opens on 28 September 2012.
