Marc Webb continues to tease Spidey fans by drip-feeding snippets of info concerning The Amazing Spider-Man 2, with his latest missive containing a glimpse of the wall-crawler’s new suit.
Well, we say the “suit”… it’s actually just one of the eye-pieces Spidey will be peering out of. And really, it doesn’t look that different from the old ones. Except it is a tiny bit bigger.
“We’re making some cool improvements on the suit,” revealed Webb a few months ago, although just how drastically different it proves to be remains to be seen.
What we’re more interested in is seeing Jamie Foxx’s get-up as the villainous Electro. We’ve heard that the character’s comic-book outfit will be getting a fairly serious redesign, but we’re still waiting on our first glimpse. Over to you, Marc…
Co-starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone and Dane DeHaan, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will open in the UK on 18 April 2014.

looks like the pin hole glasses you wear for eye strain. I'm sure spidey will have no trouble swinging around the city with no depth perception.

I hate the fact that in the Amazing Spiderman he upgrades his suit from the makeshift balaclava version to a perfectly tailored, sh*t hot, spidey suit without any explanation as to how to he did it. LAME!

His Home-Ed skills are amazing? To be fair that was something that has always been a bit dodgy, even in the comics, how could this young lad put together such a perfect suit? Even in the Raimi films, he seemed to just magic it up (with silver webbing too? ugh) I guess it's just something you accept ... although it's funny how you totally accept a young man with the powers and abilities of a spider ... yet you question his sewing skills (LOL)

"I hate the fact that in the Amazing Spiderman he upgrades his suit from the makeshift balaclava version to a perfectly tailored, sh*t hot, spidey suit without any explanation as to how to he did it. LAME!" Yes, making a tailored costume is certainly the most unbelievable aspect of the Spider-man story.

In regard to Parker making the suite - they show him ordering a costume on-line (similar to Kick-a*s to be honest) and then show him making his web shooters, it would a lame scene to watch Garfield doing some sewing. So I was happy, plus he's as Smart as Reed Richard and no-one questioned his sewing skills (even f they did question the whole film) but back to the related article I also noticed the black background but I think this is coincidence as it doesn't look very fabric like, but who knows Viral marketing could be starting early for this one ...
