Looks like Martin Scorsese is delving deep into another obsession besides film history and working with Robert De Niro, or Leo DiCaprio – music documentaries.
Launching his latest gig, Rolling Stones doc Shine A Light, at the Berlin Film Fest, Scorsese announced that he’s already putting together a project about another iconic musical talent – Bob Marley.
He aims to have it done by February 2010, in time for what would have been the reggae master’s 65th Birthday. "I am thrilled that the Marley family will finally have the opportunity to document our father's legacy and are truly honoured to have Mr. Scorsese guide the journey," Ziggy Marley blabbed to Variety, which has the whole story.
