Marvel reveals 11 new Avengers Assemble images

Have you seen the superhero epic yet?

Avengers Assemble is in cinemas now (well, in the UK, Europe, Australia and other territories… sorry USA), and Marvel are still ploughing on with the promotional materials, having unveiled a batch of new images.

While a few of them seem to be set-ups we've already seen from slightly different angles, there are a couple of goodies in the mix.

Namely, that Cap-led group shot, Agent Coulson doing his best Men In Black impression in a pair of black shades, and Hawkeye generally looking badass.

Check out all 11 images in full below:

Avengers Assemble is in cinemas now, while The Avengers will hit the US on 4 May 2012. Read our Avengers Assemble review.

went to see it last nigt, fantastic film, great action, funny moments its got it all.... although im unsure that it benefited from being 3d, there were some parts (mainly scenes of people flying in the air) where the 3d made it look more fake (i know its not real), but it looked more like when the actor would be pretending to walk along with a screen behind him making it look like he was actually moving. its a minor fault though lol

Awesome film! The CGI was fantastic! And you should really see it in 3D, lots of great shots! And I loved that the Hulk actually looked like Mark Ruffalo. Awesome awesome awesome. I still have goosebumps ;)

Wasn't there supposed to be a new DKR trailer before the (incredibly-awesome-go-see-it-now) film though? Or is that just gonna be in the US? if so, guess they're the ones who get to laugh at us. (oh, did i mention you should go see the Avengers. Its Awesome!)

TDKR trailer wasn't shown on the 2D screening either, (I've seen it twice, wasn't shown either time). I'm guessing it's only in America, but lucky for our generation we have the interwebs which means we can watch it whenever we want! The Avengers is amazing, I honestly can't pick out any flaws with the film, it's amazing how Whedon managed to give every main character moments to shine and the post credits bit, WOW! I can't wait for 2016 or whenever the next one comes out! Did the staff at anyone else's local cinema dress up?

The staff at our local didn't dress up - but then if there was a leather clad scarlett johansson lookalike selling tickets i might not have seen the film. Everything i've read from people who have seen it say how much they loved it. Still haven't seen a single person even saying it was just 'okay' - always 'amazing' or 'awesome'. Wonder what Marvel's genuine expectations for the film were. They pumped a lot of money into it, so they must have been hoping for a huge hit, but i wonder if its going to outdo their expectations. I went to watch the Hunger Games on Saturday (alright film, book is better) because every screening of the Avengers was selling out and the queues were massive. I think word-of-mouth is going to make this one of the biggest grossing pictures of all time.

Seen it twice already and just swooned over it! It's the only time I've ever seen a British audience spontaneously cheer and applaud during a film en masse - the absolute worst thing about it is when it's over and you're not watching it anymore...
