Mary Elizabeth Winstead talks Pilgrim

Edgar Wright's next project gets going...

Mary Elizabeth Winstead has begun prep - Kung-Fu prep, no less - on Edgar Wright's next project Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World.

Winstead said to Moviehole:  "I have a film I'm going to start, with Michael Cera and directed by Edgar Wright, called Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World. I'm extremely excited about it. I actually just started Kung-Fu training for it today!"

The film - based on Bryan O' Malley's comic-book series - seems like it's been gestating for far longer than any flick with the high-concept 'boy has to fight the seven evil exes of his crush to get a date' should, and we're glad to see it get started.
