Matt Damon says he is still open to reprising role of Jason Bourne

Says it is all dependent on a good story

Matt Damon has long suggested that he might be open to a return to the character of Jason Bourne, and the star has reiterated that standpoint during an interview with CNBC.

“I've always been open to it if Paul Greengrass is the director,” said Damon, when asked whether he would consider returning to the character. “We've just never been able to come up with a story.”

“It felt like such a good way to end it last time,” continues Damon, referring to the conclusion of The Bourne Ultimatum. “Having said that, I love that character. I'd love to see what happened to him.”

“If any of your viewers have a story,” joked the star, “please call Universal and submit it.”

In the meantime, Universal has announced plans to press on with Aaron Cross’s story in a proposed fifth film in the series, but we’d imagine the door will always remain open to Damon and Greengrass. Get those story ideas in to the comments below…

Story idea: Jason Bourne develops amnesia again and wakes up in Hollywood with no knowledge of the past 4 films and ends up remaking the trilogy again, but with Brett Ratner as director. You can have that one for free.

No! No! No! Ultimatum was the perfect conclusion to Jason Bourne's story.

Noah Vosen and Eric Byer have joined forces to protect their kill squad programs "Blackbriar" and "Outcome" with this time more control and manpower to take lethal actions, knowing the only person that might be a problem to their program is Jason Bourne so Vosen decides to take Nicky Parson captive and threatens bourne, Bourne comes out of hiding and is gunning for vosen, bourne knows this time he might not be able to pull it of alone so he teams up with Aaron Cross(or he uses him), but at their first accounter Bourne finds out that Aaron Cross had his own agenda to deal with Eric Byer. -George Adindu-

Any other Bourne movie should start with Bourne and Aaron Cross fighting furiously, with Bourne striking a killing blow using a copy of The Bourne Legacy on DVD. After the opening titles Bourne wakes up, gets dressed, and leaves his apartment. After he walks down the road for a while he suddenly cant remember if he left the oven on or not so decides to go home. Unfortunately he cant remember where he lives, so he decides to carry on to where he was going... Unfortunately he cant remember that either... (Movie amnesia is fun!) A craggy faced man see's him looking confused and offers to help him.... One thing Bourne can remember is 2 hours wasted watching Skyfall. It puzzled him how a movie in which hardly anything happened managed to make so much money! Bourne swiftly kills craggy faced boring Bond using an envelope, a kit kat, and a daffodil. Looking down at Bonds battered lifeless face (which to be fair doesn't look any worse then it did before) Bourne suddenly realises what he has to do! He jumps astride his magical unicorn of justice, and along with Jack Bauer, sets off to Hollywood to brutally murder an endless stream of gold digging sequel/reboot obsessed executives... If it goes well it could be the start of a new franchise. Like everything seems to be these days....
