Matthew McConaughey for Captain America?

According to CinemaBlend, Matthew McConaughey is the man Marvel Studios wants to front its The First Avenger: Captain America flick, currently set to arrive 6 May 2011.
Which sounds a bit dodgy to us - especially as they haven't even announced a director yet and we imagine they'll want to follow the Iron Man template and let whoever's helming help pick the lead.
So, file this one under rumour, then hit the forums to tell us what you think. Will Matt move from bongo-playing to shield-flinging?
