There have been pictures available online for ages, shots of Angelina and Morgan Freeman wielding weapons, but now the first full trailer for Timur Bekmambetov’s adaptation of Mark Millar’s Wanted comic book is here.
It’s the tale of Wesley Gibson (James McAvoy), a weedy type who discovers that his recently father was a secret assassin, and a member of a secret society known as The Fraternity. The organisation recruits Gibson, and trains him to be a lethal killer using skills he never knew he possessed. Given that it was directed by the man who made Night Watch, it’s predictably nuts, but hey… it’s not like John Woo’s making US movies right now.
The film shoots into cinemas next April, but you can find the trailer here.
