"You understand the meaning of foreboding. As in badness is happening right now…” So explodes the trailer for Miami Vice, as Colin Farrell’s Crockett and Jamie Foxx’s Tubbs kick ass and look good doing it in Michael Mann’s movie update.
They’ve been seemingly shooting for years – well, all right months – but the footage is finally here and it’s slickly exciting, glossy and cool. Not sure about that opening dialogue volley, but the usual Mann style is present. And there’s no Don Johnson sans socks.
Due to a weird cross-promotion, the trailer is on Bacardi’s site. Which means you have to be over 21 to enter and watch. Er, unless you lie and say you were born before 1984… But we trust you not to lie, right? Right?
