Mickey Rourke has made his favourite film

And it's Aronofsky's The Wrestler

Darren Aronofsky's The Wrestler has just closed the Venice Film Festival, ermerging as the new favourite to bag the Golden Lion for best film and best actor for its star Mickey Rourke.

If it wins, Rourke won't be surprised.

"People for the last 15, 20 years would say, 'What's the favorite movie you've ever done, what's your best work?' And I would say: 'I haven't made it yet.' And I can honestly say right now, the best fucking movie I've ever made is this," Rourke told Reuters.
